They are aged in oak for at least 24 months and bottled fined for at least 3 months afterward. They must be at least 12.5% alcohol by volume. Poggio Basso Chianti Classico Riserva is made from grapes grown in the prestigious Panzano region in the heart of the Chianti Classico area.
